Commentary team announced for 2026 National Schools' Regatta
April 28, 2026
The National Schools’ Regatta has announced the commentary team that will cover this year’s event at Dorney Lake, bringing together some of the most experienced voices in British rowing broadcasting.

Olympic bronze medallists Becky Wilde and Eve Stewart will feature alongside World Rowing commentator Peter O’Hanlon, one of the sport’s most recognised voices. Carol Wallace and Anne Buckingham, familiar to many from their coverage of the Henley Women’s Regatta, also join the team, as do JRN’s Tom Morgan, Fraser Innes, and Poppy Baines, who have followed the junior rowing circuit throughout the winter and spring season. The full team will be confirmed closer to the event.
Live coverage will be streamed on YouTube, with drone footage providing aerial perspectives of the racing across Dorney Lake — a feature that has become a popular element of events including Henley Royal Regatta and the British Rowing Club Championships.
Clubs and crews can expect to be contacted in due course for information to help commentators provide more detailed and informed coverage across the three days of competition.
