Members of Reading University Boat Club will be joining NSR Committee Members to present Prizes on Sunday.
The RUBC men's 1st quad are excited to be presenting the prizes at NSR this Sunday.
They have all competed at the regatta as juniors and have fond memories of those experiences.
This crew has had a fantastic season so far at RUBC, winning a Pennant at the 4’s Head, taking the Gold Medal at the British University College Sport Head of the River and the Silver at the BUCS Regatta earlier this month.
They’re in a great position as they set their sights on winning the Prince of Wales at Henley Royal Regatta.
In the crew are:
Louis Powell who started rowing at the Lea RC and came to Reading University to study Zoology. He’s currently in his 2nd Year and will be the 2022-23 Men’s Captain.
Sol Hewitt is in his 2nd year of a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. He started rowing at Christchurch RC and rowed at Leander while completing his A-levels at Henley College.
Olly Dix, started at Leicester Rowing Club, he is in the final year of a Masters in International Security Studies, and has a job lined up for next year with the Metropolitan Police.
Josh Lyons started rowing at Bedford School and has been this years Treasurer at RUBC, which has tied in well with his degree in Economics.
