NSR Youth Festival September to go ahead

The National Schools’ Committee would like to confirm their intention to organise the ‘NSR Youth Festival’ in Nottingham on 25th and 26th September 2021.

The NSR Committee proposes to organise a two-day regatta (depending on demand from entries) for junior rowers who are currently Junior 14, Junior 15 but who will be Junior 15 and Junior 16 for academic year 2021/22.

The plan is to offer a ‘Ladder Regatta’ to provide all competitors with plenty of racing in the following events:

NSR Committee remains committed to providing a first-class competition experience. The Ladder Regatta will provide an opportunity to race over 1000m in an exciting new format with multiple races. With so much innovation in the world of sport taking place as we come out of the pandemic, we look forward to offering something different to our younger competitors.
