National Schools’ Regatta has teamed with Elston Consulting, a leading investment solutions provider for UK financial advisers.
Following an initial partnership for the 2022 Regatta, Elston is delighted to be supporting the regatta in the coming years.
Henry Cobbe, Elston Consulting’s founder is a former rower and raced at National Schools’ Regatta in the winning Eton College 1994 crew before going on to represent Great Britain. Henry won a Silver medal in 1993 Junior World Championships in the Coxless Four along with his pairs partner and subsequent Olympian, Edward Coode.
Henry says, 'We are delighted to be supporting this first-class competition experience for this generation of junior rowers – a highlight of the school rowing calendar. Anyone who went through the despairs and joys of competing at National Schools’ Regatta knows how gruelling and rewarding it is. By supporting it, we are delighted to help extend the regatta’s reach to enable schools all across the UK to participate. This also complements our support of London Youth Rowing to broaden access to this fantastic sport.'
National Schools’ Regatta Chairman George Hammond said ‘We are delighted to welcome Elston Consulting as a Partner to the regatta, as a former junior international, Henry knows the importance of the competitive experience for junior rowers. We would like to thank Henry and the team at Elston Consulting for choosing to support National Schools’ Regatta in this way and we look forward to working with them.’
