We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to NSR 2025 being held at the NWSC in Nottingham next May. You will find attached the Invitation for Entries for the regatta which we hope will help schools and clubs with their planning for the event.
Along with the change in venue there are some other notable differences from last year’s event and I would like to take this opportunity to highlight these below. Please take note of the following:
The J15 4+ events for both Open and Girls will now be held on Friday over 2000m. This is to help with the scheduling of racing across the regatta.
The intention is that the racing on Friday will start at 0930, and on Saturday and Sunday will start at 0800.
Entry fees have been reduced this year, down from 2024 prices.
here will be a new system in place for Spectator Parking (information to follow) but I am pleased to announce that the price for parking will be less than 2024 prices
The pitches for marquees and gazebos will be bookable in the usual manner through Eventbrite; however, the booking fee for each transaction will now be covered by the regatta. Marquees will be situated on the South side of the course and be easily accessible from the spectator car parks. Booking for marquees will open at 1100 on February 1st 2025.
Marquee pitches are ‘one-size’ and I would encourage those clubs and schools with smaller gazebos to consider sharing a space.
Zoning will be in place around the site, similar to last year, and a full site map will follow in due course.
The Regatta’s ‘retail village’ and University Zone will be on the Patio Lawn next to the Centre building.
We are very pleased to be working once again with Time-Team for racing information and GiggaBox, who will be filming and live streaming all races.
