PARKING
We are delighted to welcome you to National Schools' Regatta, the UK's premiere junior rowing event. Whether you are a first time supporter or a returning rowing fan, you will be assured of a warm welcome and a wonderful three days of exciting racing.
Spectators will be given a warm welcome when they attend the biggest junior regatta in the UK
National Schools' Regatta is famous for the festival atmosphere. Thousands of spectators will be cheering on the crews for three days!
We want to be able to welcome as many supporters as possible to the regatta. When you arrive, you will be directed to parking spaces along the regatta course. Dorney Lake is a big place and it is advised you wear shoes for walking on grass as you may have to walk some distance from your car to watch racing or meet your young rower.
We encourage all spectators to car pool, bring friends and family in as few cars as possible each day.
Each driver parking in the spectator area will receive a complimentary programme, subject to availability.
Parking for spectators is on the north side of Dorney Lake, giving easy access to view the races.
Spectators must pre-purchase a ticket to park :
Spectators are required to purchase a parking ticket. These tickets can be purchased through the NSR Eventbrite link.
Please have your tickets ready to show the Stewards on arrival, you will then be directed to park along the North Side of Dorney Lake.
Cost: £26 per day (cost held at 2023 prices)
If tickets on arrival at Dorney Lake - the online system still needs to be utilised.
Where a ticket is bought in error, NSR reserves the right to refund less an administration fee.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE PUBLIC HIGHWAY
The regatta cannot be held liable for parking tickets issued to those who leave their vehicle on the public highway on the approach roads to the lake entrance.
For the duration of the 3-day event a temporary traffic order has been applied for to prohibit vehicles parking on Court Lane.
The road will be marshalled and anyone found to be parking on the restricted highway will be liable to be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice or your vehicle may be towed away.
Spectators dropping off Competitors:

Drivers transporting competitors will need to identify themselves at the entrance and will be directed to park on the Drove Road which is located on the south side of Dorney Lake.

Parents, supporters and rowing coaches bringing competitors will be directed to the Drove Road.

If drivers wish to park on the north side of the Dorney Lake to view the racing a parking ticket will need to be purchased in advance, but there is no charge for parking on the Drove Road which is available subject to space.
Important notes for Spectators

There is No pedestrian access to the boating area OR to the island between the main lake and warm-up lake.

Spectators are NOT PERMITTED to cycle on the site (coaches will have permits for the south, island, side).

Drones are NOT PERMITTED at any time during the Regatta.

Open Fires are NOT PERMITTED. You may however use a gas barbeque subject to your own risk assessment.

Please ensure you separate any rubbish from material for recycling and place it only in the bins provided. Please consider taking litter home.

Dogs must be kept on a lead, and under control, at all times.
