Welfare and Safety

All coaches and rowers must read through the instructions below.

Please ensure that these are adhered to for the duration of the NSR. The Regatta implements the recommendations of the British Rowing Row Safe guide to good practice in rowing, and competitors are reminded of their obligations under Row Safe.

The Organising Committee of the NSR recognises their Duty of Care to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to provide a safe environment for all those attending the Regatta in whatever capacity. Each coach is responsible for the welfare, safety and appropriate supervision of his/her crew and is expected to know the whereabouts of his/her crew at all times during the Regatta.
